Unusual Arts & Crafts period fire screen - about 1910. It is brass framed and has leaded sections of stained glass and bullseye glass. The overall dimensions are 34" wide and 23" high. The center panel is 19"high by 17" wide. The 2 side panels are each 19" high by 6" wide. There is some damage to the glass which can be seen by looking at the photos. It is a most desirable accessory for an Arts & Crafts collection.
Note: Enlargement 1 is the screen without light behind it.
Enlargement 2 is the screen with light behind it.

This late 19th century hanging candle lamp is a mold blown, beautiful deep amber glass in a quilted diamond pattern. Its original brass hanging mechanism is still on it and the gilded brass reflector at the top reads: CLARKE'S PATENT LONDON S TRADE MARK "FAIRY". The condition is excellent, the overall height is 18",the glass portion is 4" tall and the top rim is 2 3/4" in diameter. My understanding is that these candle lamps were hung on Victorian Christmas trees.

Most unusual English match holder, striker
and candle holder. This a type known as a go-to-bed. This detailed little box has the top and bottom crafted of a beautiful beveled agate set in a brass frame which also incorporates the striker and a clever design-the right side, which holds a tiny candle, folds out to light your way.
Very convenient if you were a guest in a 19th century stately home and a splendid addition to a match safe or box collection.
The box is 1 7/8" long, 1 1/4" deep and 3/4" deep. Lovely color and condition.

Victorian glove hooks were a necessary accessory of the period. No.1 and No.4 Are marked "sterling". No.2 is a rarer form - a folding example with a decorated mother-of-pearl case and sterling trim and hook hallmarked: Sheffield 1892. No.3 is a chatelaine glove hook of the same period as the second one. It has English hallmarks, but very difficult to read. They are all between 2 1/2" and 2 3/4" long and in very good condition.
