This late 19th century hanging candle lamp is a mold blown, beautiful deep amber glass in a quilted diamond pattern. Its original brass hanging mechanism is still on it and the gilded brass reflector at the top reads: CLARKE'S PATENT LONDON S TRADE MARK "FAIRY". The condition is excellent, the overall height is 18",the glass portion is 4" tall and the top rim is 2 3/4" in diameter.My understanding is that these candle lamps were hung on Victorian Christmas trees.

This lovely, decorative perfume or smelling salts bottle was part of a dance or sewing chatelaine. The enamelled and painted decorations are in very good condition and it retains its original stopper under the hinged lid.Pre 1900, possibly French.it is 3 1/4" long.
