$225.00 set of four

Most unusual to find a matching set of 4 dressing table jars, silver caps hallmarked LONDON 1898. The caps all have an intricate design incorporating a face with ribbons flowing out of its mouth and into the rest of the design. The cartouche containing the monogram is formed by leaf like horns flowing from the top of the head. They all are beautifully hand engraved "B.M.T."Numbers 1,2,4 are 5 1/2" long. Number 3 is 7" long and they are all about 1 1/4" in diameter. Numbers 1 and 3 have pull off caps, numbers 2 and 4 are screw tops. 1 and 2 have no problems, 3 looks like the glass lip has had some repair - probably to grind out a chip. The cap of number 4 does not screw up tightly and there is a very small dent in the silver. The crystal bodies all have a panel cut and very minor indications of wear. A lovely set.
