American Dime Store cast metal figures probably by Tommy Toy or All Nu, ca 1950's.
Delightful painted figures in the form of a policeman and a "lady of the night". Some paint chipping, but overall in quite good condition.They are 3" tall and about 1 1/2 or 2" wide.
These cute little figural perfumes were sold at Woolworth in the early part of the 20th c. They are glass , blown in Germany. This group consists of a seated rabbit (2" long), an elephant (2 1/4" long) a soccer player (2" tall) and a clown (2" tall). SEE PHOTOS FOR DETAILS. Condition is very good
Stylized period deco perfume bottle for "Yvry" perfume. Of the period. See the reference book on commercial perfume bottles . The book has an advert. for this perfume.About 4 3/4" from the top of its ground glass stopper to the base. The base has molded into the glass the word "Yvry".Excellent condition.
French figural china liqueur container is marked"GARNIER FRANCE" with the number 99 impressed on the base. Very deco/moderne looking. It is the "groom", one of a group of miniature figural, P. Garnier, liqueur bottles know as "skittles".4 3/4" tall including cork.Very good condition.
Decorated American coin silver pipe knife. Ca. 1860. Has two silver blades, one marked "33 coin". One blade has a small section engraved. The monogram on the case is hand done "EA.D.R." Knife closed is 3 1/8" long. A rare piece.
Patriotic drum in its original box is a ca. WWI sewing pin cushion.May be a gift from a soldier to his sweetheart? Mother? 2" in diameter and 1 1/4" high. One side is the pincushion the other a period beauty whose image is covered with celluloid. The body of the drum is painted tin. Excellent condition.
Heavy celluloid is the material of this antique sewing etui in the form of a parrot perching on a branch. The eyes are glass and the detail and condition is excellent. Circa 1910.3 1/4" high, base diameter 3/4".
This little (1 3/4" x 1 3/4") carved cat head with extended paws is a charming thimble holder. The detail is excellent and its green glass eyes are riveting. Age has worn away the very tips of its ears, otherwise in very good condition. Inside is a monogrammed silver thimble with an interesting scenic band.Ca. 1910
Art deco porcelain toast rack is in blue lustre and whimsically hand painted in a red,yellow and blue polka dot decor. It is 7 3/4" long, 4" deep and 2 3/4" tall. Made in Japan ,in the 1930's, it is in great shape.
