These comic character figures dating from the early 20th century represent some of the early history of comic strips, No.1 BIMBO drawn by the legendary Max Fleisher was the star of the Talkartoons in which Betty Boop was introduced. In excellent condition and well marked,he is 3" tall and made in Japan.
No.2 is a German bisque nodder,MR. WICKER dating from the early part of the 20th c. In excellent condition, well marked. measures 3 1/2" high.
N0.3 CHESTER GUMP is a German bisque nodder in excellent condition ca.1920's, 2 1/2" tall.
No.4 I'm pretty sure that this painted bisque (or composition) seated figure is a very rare example of the toddler SKEEZIX. It is only marked "Germany".It is 1 1/2" high and in excellent condition.
No.5 is a bisque head and neck of MAGGIE of Maggie & Jiggs. It is marked Germany . But I don't know why it was made with an open pate.A little less than 2" high and in quite good shape.

This 1920's toy golf game called THE GAME OF TRAPS is played with marbles. It was manufactured in Seattle, Washington by the Traps Mfg. Co. The lithography on the inside of the box is in very good condition. The outside of the box is good with the exception of a small amount of restoration on the letter "S"The traps are made of tin and while the game indicates that it includes 4 variegated marbles, I don't think the marbles found with this game are original to it - they look like marbles from a later period. There is wear along the edges of the box, the game was definitely used, However, the overall condition is quite good. The box closed is 11 7/8" wide by 11 3/4" high. Open it is 22" long.
