This undamaged celluloid bud vase is a rare piece, of the celluloid dresser sets of the 1920's, to find. It stands 6 1/4" tall and the base is 2 1/4" wide. This cute celluloid place card depicts a kewpie (movable arms) pushing a wheelbarrow.Flower and greenery are original - faux paper foliage. The base has "Austria" pressed into the celluloid. The base is 2 1/2" x 1", has a little bit of warping (see photo) which does not affect it very much, otherwise intact. It dates 1917.
