Krampus is supposedly a devil like figure, half man, half goat. He is one of the companions of Father Christmas in his travels - part of European lore. He carries bundles of sticks (used as switches) and usually a bag - in this case a staved basket - or chais (seen in the next Krampus I am listing. The mold is 5 5/8" tall . Made of tinned steel it does have a variety of markings: 16+2,10,11,WIEN (Vienna),...TEICH (cannot make out the first part might not be T but R, and therefore could be the last part of Ostreich-which is Austria.

This is a beautiful 19th century French wire cake and pastry cooler.
The wire work is intricate for such an utilitarian item. And, it miraculously retained 3 of its tassels. The diameter is 12 1/2" and it sits 1" off the table top. The metal has a very nice patina.
For more information on French antique wire items see WIRE, by Suzanne Slesin,et al, part of the EVERYDAY THINGS series published by Abbeville.

This wire trap is pictured in Suzanne Slesin's book on antique wire. I am assuming it was a mouse trap because of its size. It is now for the collector of unusual wire because a small section of 4 wires in the base have rusted away. The rest if it is intact. It does retain its metal little door for retrieving your catch. Diameter of the base is 6" , height is 4", handle is another 2". It is a neat piece.

This "Made in France" 16 piece set would elegantly outfit the kitchen cupboard of the most particular little cook. The set is called "Le Reve de Jeannette"(Jeanette's Dream). It is in its original box and all 16 items are still in their original tied in positions. The pots and pans appear to be made of cast aluminium, the molds and utensils of tin and wood. There are 2 rectangular bain marie - large and small, 2 oval roasting(?) pans - large and small, 2 oval casserole (lidded pots with the name of the toy impressed in the lids), 1 round uncovered handled pan, 3 food molds, 1 whisk, 1 ladle, 1 skimmer and 1 wooden spoon. The largest piece( covered casserole) is 5 1/4" long an 1 3/4" high, all the other pieces are proportionately smaller . The back of the bottom of the box has a sweet scene of children playing at cooking and serving in an orchard.
I would date this as pre WWII. Condition is excellent.

Very busy artist bunny striding forward(stepping over three mushrooms) to get on with the job of painting Easter eggs. He is wearing long trousers, a short jacket, a quilted vest, a scarf and eyeglasses. Under one paw is a palette. The other paw has a bucket containing paint brushes. The overall height of the mould is 8 1/2" and the maximum width is about 5".
There is a maker's mark,a hunting horn. It is the mark of Walter Hornlein. The numbers on the mold are 30 on both sides and 3013 on one side near the horn. The condition is very good - some rubbing on the metal finish on the outside of the mould. It is from the 1950s.

The premier maker of German chocolate molds. Anton Reiche, is the producer of this outstanding pair of moulds. They are the largest size bride and groom moulds Reiche produced in the early 1930's. They are 10 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" to 6" wide. The condition and definition are excellent. In the 1930's Lilliputian weddings were all the rage. Children were dressed in every detail to mimic an adult wedding party. They seem to have been sponsored by woman's clubs and churches - possibly as fund raisers. These moulds reflect the popularity of this activity. The bride and groom are children.
