| This "Made in France" 16 piece set would elegantly outfit the kitchen cupboard of the most particular little cook. The set is called "Le Reve de Jeannette"(Jeanette's Dream).It is in its original box and all 16 items are still in their original tied in positions. The pots and pans appear to be made of cast aluminium, the molds and utensils of tin and wood. There are 2 rectangular bain marie - large and small, 2 oval roasting(?) pans - large and small, 2 oval casserole (lidded pots with the name of the toy impressed in the lids), 1 round uncovered handled pan, 3 food molds, 1 whisk, 1 ladle, 1 skimmer and 1 wooden spoon. The largest piece( covered casserole) is 5 1/4" long an 1 3/4" high, all the other pieces are proportionately smaller . The back of the bottom of the box has a sweet scene of children playing at cooking and serving in an orchard. I would date this as pre WWII. Condition is excellent. | |||||
