| This piggy bank is a cream color with a sponged design of terracotta, blue and brown.While I have often heard this type of pottery bank ascribed to Roseville, I have also seen similar banks identified as made in Vienna. Both designations agree that it dates to the early 20th century. This size appears to be more unusual. 4 1/4" long by 3 3/4" tall. There is glaze wear on the ear tips (more on the right than the left), a little bit on the snout and some on the bottoms of the trotters. This piggy has a lovely winsome look. | ||||||
