| The tiniest,completely jointed, penny wooden doll I've ever had, lives in a red and gold painted egg. Most likely made in Germany for the English market - as these dolls are traditional to England. The egg closed is 1 3/4" tall and 1" at its widest. The doll is 1" tall . The cavity in the egg that holds her, is 3/8" wide. All in wonderful condition(the second enlargement has some posing wax blocking the view of her foot - the foot is intact). Early 20th century. | ||||||
