| A beautiful group of 10 of the Nuremberg flats ice skating set. They are in lovely condition - two dimensional, beautiful detailed painting on both sides. There is an elderly couple skating, a gentleman helping a seated woman with her skates, a lady being pushed in a chair sled by a skater, old lady selling roasted chestnuts while seated next to her stove,2 figures of boys throwing snowballs at one another, a snowman holding a broom, a boy skater pulling a young child on a sled, and two separate figures of young men skating. They are all dressed in 19th century dress. These sets which originally consisted of 32 pieces (somewhere I have a copy of the mail order ad that was found with them), were probably sold in the 1950's. | ||
