| This figural barrel is a very nice Mauchline ware case sold by Ashworth's - it was for #40 six cord machine cotton. The decorative chromolithography is in very good condition - the band in the middle is marked "COPYRIGHT" and the inner label is intact. The bone circle surrounding the thread dispensing hole is fine. Dates to the third quarter of the 19th century. | ||||||
