| The Gladstone Bag is an Avery type brass needle case patented by Perry & C0. London on September 6.1878. It is listed in VICTORIAN BRASS NEEDLECASES by Estelle Horowitz and Ruth Mann. The dimensions are 4.1" x 1.5" x 3.3". The condition is excellent. The registry mark can be seen among the "luggage labels". Makes you think of THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST. | |||||||
