| A most colorful, oval"lunch box" style container by TINDECO - out of Baltimore, Md.-originally held candy.It is part of a series decorated with characters of the Peter Rabbit stories. This tin features the Fourth of July and is called PETER RABBIT ON PARADE.Peter Rabbit leads the parade dressed as Uncle Sam. This particular tin is hard to find in decent condition. The condition of this example is quite good and in determining the value the condition is of utmost importance. The lithography on the very rim of the cover shows the wear appropriate to the age - ca.1930. It is 4 1/2" long,3 1/2" deep (both measurements excluding the handle) and 2 3/8" tall lidded. | |||||||||||
