| Elegant little thread waxer enabled thread to slide more efficiently through the fabric, probably facilitating tinier stitches. About 3/4" in diameter, each side is made of mother-of-pearl and decoratively carved. I would guess it originally was part of a fitted sewing box.Ca 1900. Lovely condition. | ||
