| The first modern form newspaper comic strip appeared in 1865 in Germany.Named "Max and Moritz" it featured the adventures of these two mischievous boys. These two German chocolate molds made by HORNLEIN(marked with hunting horn symbol), ca. 1950, are busts of these characters. They are 3 1/2" to 4" tall and about 4" at the widest point ,in excellent condition. They are also numbered 2567 and 2568. | |||||||
